The leather sweatband is unmarked, but there is a white cloth label underneath 1945 N432 A arrow F and the chinstrap is held in place by 2 plastic RAAF buttons. Under the sweatband is a card to Dr George Simpson. 252083 George Simpson discharged 6 Sep 1944 as a Squadron Leader from No 6 RAAF Hospital Heidelberg Victoria. Some mothing to crown.

The sweat band is stamped MTX and the leather chinstrap is held in place by 2 black plastic buttons. Malcolm enlisted on 1 Aug 1940 at Melbourne and discharged on 17 Nov 1945 as a Warrant Officer from 2 Personnel Depot.
