H196. An officer’s service dress cap named to Dalton under the peak with a bullion cap badge. The cap is lined with a black quilted material sewn in a diamond pattern and has a green underside to the peak. The sweatband has a very faint MTX stamp and the chinstrap is held in place by 2 plastic RAAF buttons.
H197. An unnamed Warrant Officer’s service dress cap with a brass badge. The cap is lined with a grey quilted material sewn in a diamond pattern and has a large Truform label attached to the crown. It has a grey leather sweatband and a blue cloth underside to the peak, the leather chinstrap is held in place by 2 metal buttons.
H264. A WAAAF ranks service dress cap with an oxidised metal cap badge. The cap is lined with a black cloth and has a green underside to the peak. The cap was made by V306 and has 91585? written on the sweatband, May Marion Warland. May enlisted on 23 Oct 1941 at Adelaide and discharged on 6 Dec 1945 from RAAF Headquarters (D/CAS)
